Rupert Samuel Memorial

Location

Julie Vaughn Borges'
54 Zenith Drive
Worcester, MA

Dear Friends,
It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Rupert Samuel.  Rupert transferred to our community in 2003.  Originally from the Caribbean Island of Montserrat, Rupert came to the United States in 1995 after the Soufriere Volcano destroyed much of the island.  He participated in the Black Men's Gatherings and his kind heart and bright smile warmed every room.

A memorial in honor of Rupert Samuel will be held at the home of Julie Vaughn Borges 54 Zenith Drive this Sunday October 11 at 2pm.  Rupert's brother and other family members will be arriving in Worcester on Saturday and will be attending the service with the community on Sunday.
Please join us in prayer as his soul wings his flight through the Abhá Kingdom.

O SON OF SPIRIT! Burst thy cage asunder, and even as the phoenix of love soar into the firmament of holiness. Renounce thyself and, filled with the spirit of mercy, abide in the realm of celestial sanctity.
                                                                                    -Baha'u'llah

O God, my God!  Stay not from me the gentle gales of Thy pardon and grace, and deprive me not of the wellsprings of Thine aid and favor.
Neath the shade of Thy protecting wings let me nestle, and cast upon me the glance of Thine all-protecting eye.
