From a communication from NSA:
Recently, the Universal House of Justice made available to the Bahá’í world a host of new features designed to complement its documentary film, A Widening Embrace, which was released at Ridván last year, in time for the 12th International Bahá’í Convention in Haifa.
For those unfamiliar with it, A Widening Embrace―a film created by media teams primarily composed of young people themselves engaged in the work―tells the fascinating and uplifting story of the unfolding transformation of neighborhoods and their populations in clusters across the world through the community-building efforts of Bahá’ís and their like-minded friends.
The new features consist of a series of short films illustrating the work taking place at the grass roots to nurture younger generations while learning to advance together as members of vibrant communities. An additional 22-minute film, The Making of “A Widening Embrace,” shows, through the accounts of members of these same media teams, how the filmmaking process itself developed untapped capacities in them, eventually enabling these young people―most of whom had never operated a video camera, let alone made a film―to effectively document the learning taking place in their localities.
